I had the privelage of meeting Laura and Leon for their Akron engagement session this past Saturday! I was so excited to officially meet them after chatting on the phone and messaging back and forth so many times. I could tell from my time chatting with Laura that I was going to love working with them and boy was I right! These two are some of the kindest and most genuine souls I’ve ever met! They laughed, played, and had so much fun together the whole entire session.

Laura and Leon got engaged on Christmas Day! Leon proposed in front of some of Laura’s family with an elaborate gift (7 boxes wrapped inside each other with various meaningful gifts along the way, each layer wrapped in special paper). He then had a video of several of her friends and family with sweet messages for Laura, and a recording of himself. Then he got down and proposed right in the midst of all the chaos of Christmas presents and of course Laura said YES! Such a sweet and thoughtful proposal!

These two will be getting married in July and I could not be more excited! I just know their wedding is going to be absolutely beautiful and I simply cannot wait to celebrate with them.

We started their engagement session by visiting Laura’s grandma to capture some special photos. I got to meet Laura’s mom too and let me tell you she was just as welcoming and loving as Laura and Leon. They are the type of people who instantly make you feel loved and welcome and greet you with a hug. We captured some pictures with Laura’s precious Grandma, oh my goodness guys just look at this photo of these incredible ladies!

Then we headed to Nimisila Reservoir Metro Park and started by getting some family portraits with Laura and Leon’s fur babies. We were blessed with lots of beautiful sunshine for this fun snowy engagement shoot! Enjoy some of my favorites from their session!
