Lisa and Nick’s wedding at Brookshire in Delaware Ohio was an absolute dream! They had the most beautiful of days full of love, sunshine, and all the elegant details. It was truly a stunning day in the perfect setting.
Lisa thought of every last detail and her big day came together in a whimsical and elegant masterpiece. You all know how much I love pink so her gorgeous touches of blush mixed with whites and sky blue had my heart swooning!
Lisa and Nick are the sweetest of couples and are so clearly adored by all their family and friends. Every part of their day was so beautiful. Their families were so sweet, wedding party so fun, and every part of their day was simply magic!
One of my favorite parts of the day was how Lisa and Nick tied in Nick’s Persian culture throughout the day. During the ceremony they had a a table behind them with different offerings to represent Nick’s Persian culture. Then towards the end of the ceremony Nick and Lisa sat in seats behind the table. Lisa’s bridesmaids placed a veil above their heads and sugar was sprinkled over the veil to give them a “sweet” marriage”.
Later at the reception, there was a “knife dance” performed by the bridesmaids before the cake cutting. Lisa’s bridesmaids took the cake knife and “danced” with it. Meanwhile Nick and Lisa tried to “bribe” them to give it to them with money. SO neat! I absolutely love intercultural weddings and weddings that incorporate unique events and decor that reflect the couple!
