I got to spend the evening with Lauren and Tyler at Hoover Reservoir Park this past Friday! We had a last minute location change but it ended up being perfect because Hoover Reservoir Park is actually the location of their very first date! I loved getting to meet Lauren and Tyler and their sweet fur baby Ellie. We had the perfect evening with lots of sunshine, puppy love, and the beginning touches of fall!

I have been so excited for their session ever since Lauren reached out to me earlier in the year describing their vision of incorporating their fur baby into their engagement session. Count me in, I am always 100 percent on board with including your sweet pup in your session! I mean just look how adorable their pictures turned out!!

Lauren and Tyler first met at a Country Jam concert 4 years ago. They were both with mutual friends from their small hometown, Johnstown, where they both grew up but never knew each other. Tyler was a few years older and away at college while she was in high school. They instantly connected and have been together since!

Tyler proposed a few days before Christmas. Lauren said he acted strange as the day went on. He spent the early evening with her dad (he told her he was helping his dad with something). When he was actually asking her dad permission to marry her. He came home after and popped the question in the comfort of their home with their fur baby, Ellie, right in front of the Christmas Tree! How adorable is that?!
