Engagement session at Inniswood Metro Gardens and Westerville OH. Raleigh North Carolina Photographer

I literally had THE best time hanging out with Alexa and Robert for their engagement session last Friday. We met at Inniswood Metro Gardens for their session and then finished at Robert’s families property in Galena. These two laughed and goofed around the entire evening together and we had a BLAST! Alexa and Robert are so fun and playful and definitely know how to have a good time together!

One of my favorites parts of their session was how they incorporated their fur babies, Manny and Charlie, in for a family picture! They were so sweet but it cracked me up because literally just as soon as we finished getting the picture Charlie ran over and jumped right into the pond hahaha.

Then to end the session the skies let loose and it started pouring. Alexa and Robert ran outside to dance and play in the rain and we ended up with some epic real life Notebook vibe pictures and I am obsessed!

Alexa and Robert first met at work. They both started as nurses and Alexa met him her first day of orientation. She thought he was sooooo cute and couldn’t stop sweating! She was talking with him and he said he actually just accepted a travel nurse job in Boston so he was leaving Ohio. Then a few months later Alexa was walking through the unit and he was there! She tried to stay cool and started a conversation with him. But found out he was dating someone else and was super bummed. Then, about a year or so later when they broke up Alexa and Robert got together and the rest is history!

Alexa and Robert love to travel and got engaged when they were in Clearwater, Florida. They were on their way to a nice dinner for Robert’s birthday. As they were walking on the beach to dinner they came across rose petals in the shape of a heart. He got down on one knee and popped the question! (Swoon, how cute is that?!) There was a photographer and videographer that captured the whole thing. He also MADE the ring box too which was such a cute little bonus!

Thank you so much for spending the evening with me you two! I truly adored getting to get to know you both better and am SO excited to celebrate with you for your big day next April! Enjoy some of my favorites from your session!
