Kyle and Taylor were my last fall engagement session in Ohio for the year and boy was it a good one! We had the perfect fall day full of vibrant fall colors and sunshine while walking through Schillar Park and German Village in Columbus, Ohio. These two are such an adorable and kindhearted couple. I truly had the best time spending the evening with them!
Kyle and Taylor met one year ago. They were both involved in a College Christian ministry called Cru. They were throwing a back to school bash. It was near the end of the day and Taylor was sitting by the sand volleyball courts with a couple of friends. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed this guy (Kyle) staring at her. She looked at him and said “What are you looking at?”. He stuttered and stammered a little then asked her to play volleyball with him. Taylor hates volleyball, but she said yes anyway. Taylor said she was terrible, but he was so nice, encouraging and sweet. After that, she couldn’t get him out of her head and he couldn’t get her out of his. (OMG how adorable!!)
A year and a day after Kyle and Taylor’s anniversary, he proposed! He took her back to the same ice cream shop that they went to on their first date. They reminisced about how far they had come and all the great memories they shared. Then he drove her to a bench that they like to go to by the river. He said a bunch of really sweet things. Then, he got on one knee and proposed. Taylor of course said, “YES!” It was so sweet, Kyle had also gotten his brother and Taylor’s sister to capture the moment. So they are able to have pictures to look back on that moment forever!
I am SO excited to celebrate with Kyle and Taylor on their wedding day next July at the lovely Swan Lake Event Center! I just know it’s going to be so incredibly beautiful and sweet!
