I met Allie and Jon for their engagement session at Scioto Audubon this past week. After walking around the park for a bit we headed over to Scioto Mile to finish their session along the Columbus skyline. We had such a fun evening walking around downtown Columbus together! These two are some of the kindest and most genuine people I’ve met. They are so perfect for each other and I can’t wait to celebrate with them at their Brookshire wedding next May!

Allie and Jon met in physical therapy school at Ohio State! Specifically, they met for the first time in Barnes and Noble buying supplies for their anatomy lab. And their first date was dinner at Pies & Pints in the Short North. Then went out around campus with their friends afterwards.

Jon proposed to Allie while they were at her parents house in Gulf Shores, Alabama. They went to take her beloved dog, Annie, for a walk. When they walked out onto a pier, Jon got a bit ahead of her. Then he bent down and put a bandana on Annie’s neck that said “Can Jon be my Dad?” Allie of course said “YES!” Isn’t that the sweetest proposal story?
