Kelly and Cooper met me for their engagement session in downtown Cincinnati last week. We started with some parking garage rooftop magic! Definitely one of my new favorite locations, the light was just perfect and we had the whole thing to ourselves! It was the absolute perfect evening full of sunshine, laughter, and a gorgeous couple with outfits on point! After a fun champagne pop we headed over to Smale Riverfront Park to finish their session. We had such a fun evening together and I am beyond excited to share this blog with you!

Cooper and Kelly met in Cincinnati in 2018. They were out in downtown Cincinnati and ended up talking all night until the lights came on. It was like they had known each other their whole lives! Shortly after that, Cooper asked Kelly on their first date. And they have been happily together ever since!

Cooper and Kelly had a small getaway planned to spend a couple nights in Savannah, Georgia last year. Then they were going to finish off the weekend at a resort in Hilton Head. On their last night in Savannah, Cooper got down on one knee at Wormsloe Historic Site. They were right under the “avenue of oaks”, and he even had a photographer to capture this special moment!

They spent the rest of the evening exploring Savannah and finished off with a romantic dinner at The Olde Pink House. He had told them they were celebrating their engagement, so they were greeted with champagne and a dessert on the house. It was such a special day! After that, they drove to Hilton Head where they were able to spend time with one another and continue to celebrate their engagement in the best way possible- on the beach with a drink in hand! Isn’t that the sweetest proposal story??

I always ask couples what their favorite thing about each other is. I just loved Kelly and Cooper’s responses and had to share!

Kelly: “Cooper is steady and calm. When I start to panic or think “worst case scenario”, he always finds a way to calm me down and comfort me, whether that be having a serious conversation or him cracking a silly joke. We balance one another out. He is dependable, unwavering, and everything I need in life.”

Cooper: “Kelly is ever caring and pours her whole heart into everything she does including our relationship. She is passionate about life and pushes me to be more outgoing. She’s always looking for ways to make sure we are connected and understand where each other are when I can fall back to silence when I’m frustrated. Most importantly, she is my person. My best friend who I want to tell anything to first. It has been my additional purpose in life to love her every day and start a family with.”

Congratulations Kelly and Cooper! It was a joy to spend the evening with you two for your engagement session. And I am counting down the days until I get to celebrate with you at your Club at Corazon wedding in September!
