I loved getting to meet Heather and Caleb for their day after newlywed session on Sunday! We met at Caleb’s families’ property and they gave me the tour around the property showing me some of his favorite spots growing up. Even the tree he ran into with a car when he was like 3 haha. I also got to meet Caleb’s sweet Grandma and take some pictures of them together which was so special! It was the most beautiful of days full of sunshine and gorgeous fall weather!
Heather unfortunately wasn’t feeling the greatest but she was such a trooper and the result was magic!
Heather and Caleb first met freshman year of college. They had a lot of mutual friends, but didn’t think anything of it at the time. It wasn’t until their junior year that they started to realize they were perfect for each other. Caleb and Heather started to spend more and more time together as the months went on and then on October 29th 2017 he asked her father permission to be her boyfriend because he was, and still is, extremely old fashioned. The rest was history and they “both knew they had met our soulmate, forever and always.”
Heather and Caleb had been planning a trip for weeks and were extremely excited to get away from the hustle and bustle of college life, classes and tests. For the first time ever both of them would be spending thanksgiving together away from family, nestled away in the tiny town of Roan Mountain. For weeks Caleb had been prepping the proposal completely under her nose and was able to full on surprise Heather. Out of nowhere on the mountain she turned around to him on one knee asking her to marry him. She burst into tears and could not believe this was actually happening! Neither of them remembered what was exactly said because she was a ball of emotions and he was nervous, but one thing is for sure, Heather definitely said YES! (crying, how adorable is that!?)
Congratulations Heather and Caleb, you two are so completely perfect for each other and I adored getting to be a document this special times in your lives for you! Enjoy some favorites from your session!
