This wedding was so special to me and much anticipated. Sara has been a dear friend of mine for several years and I was so incredibly excited for her wedding day! Sara and Jesse got married on August 11 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Their big day was filled with love and joy and God’s presence was so apparent throughout the entire day! Sara was the most stunning of brides wearing an elegant satin gown with beautiful detailing and a bow in the back. Every last classy and elegant detail spoke true to the two of them as a couple. There was no question about it their entire ceremony was beautiful and uniquely them.

Sara and Jesse had the dreamiest wedding ceremony at United Lutheran Seminary Chapel. It was so special because this gorgeous chapel, with tall white pillars, stunning ceiling, and detailed backdrop, was the same location Sara’s parents had been married! One of my favorite moments of the day was when the bridal party sang Sara down the aisle as she walked toward her groom. With goosebumps and tears in my eyes I snapped away as the beautiful a capella voices echoed off of the towering chapel ceiling. Once Sara and her father reached the end of the aisle he gave her away and then led everyone in worship. After Sara’s father led everyone in worship, Jesse’s dad married them. Wow! What an incredibly powerful and Christ-filled ceremony it was!

After the ceremony, Sara and Jesse got to literally ride off into the sunset on their way to the reception. Their getaway car was also a special detail and was Sara’s Grandfathers ’65 rangoon red Mustang convertible. Upon arriving at the breathtaking reception space, the Warehime Myers Mansion, we were able to get some magical golden hour portraits. Then they headed in to celebrate with friends and family during their relaxed mansion reception. This beautiful venue was full of antique decor, swoon worthy chandeliers, and gorgeous antique chairs and mirrors.
