As a wedding photographer I don’t typically photograph babies but my sweet niece (and nephew) are the exceptions. I absolutely loved getting to capture my adorable niece, Madelyn’s, first birthday pictures for her birthday today! Unfortunately because of Covid she is not able to have her first birthday party like planned. But we still made the best of things and took the cutest unicorn themed pictures with a makeshift studio backdrop. Sarah, Maddie’s mom, DIY’d an adorable unicorn cake for her cake smash that she live streamed for all the family. Didn’t it turn out perfect??? I still can’t believe she made that cake herself but it turned out so cute!
