I got to meet Shelby and Mitch at Edgewater Park for their engagement session last week. My goodness what a magical evening it was! These two are the absolute sweetest and were such a joy to spend the evening with.

I really love engagement session because prior to them most communication is via email. It’s always so fun for me to actually meet and get to know couples at their engagement session. And we really had the best time at Shelby and Mitch’s session. From including their sweet pup, Ava, to splashing along the shore of Lake Erie, and then ending the night with a champagne pop. It was truly the perfect evening for this sunset beach session that had me questioning if I was in Ohio or back in North Carolina!

Mitch proposed to Shelby on a bridge at a local park that was special to them both. It was the park that they walked around on one of their first weekday dates because they could no longer wait until the weekend to see one another. Following the proposal, Mitch took her to a surprise engagement party with all of their family and friends to celebrate their special day! Talk about the sweetest proposal!
