Katie and Dillon are married!!! I was truly so honored to capture their special day at Summerfield Farms. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day! The sun was shining, we had a crisp fall breeze, and every last detail was perfection!

From the moment I showed up I knew it was going to be a good one. Katie was a vision in her stunning lace robe and handed me a bag full of the prettiest details. Katie’s girls were SO much fun as we popped some champagne and had the sweetest reaction during their first look with Katie.

Katie and Dillon’s day was filled to the brim with happy tears and joy. It is so clear they are adored by many, and boy were their friends and family a fun group! Katie and Dillon know how to have a good time and are some of the most kindhearted people I’ve met! From the time I arrived hanging out with the wedding party to the very end of the night on the fully packed dance floor, their day was overflowing with joy and love.

I think my favorite part(s) of the day would be the first touch and then the first looks. Katie and Dillon chose to keep it traditional and not see each other before the ceremony. Instead they shared what I call a first touch where they held hands around the corner of the barn. They spent a few moments holding hands, chatting, and reveling in the fact that they were mere moments from becoming husband and wife! It was truly the sweetest little moment.

Katie also did a first look with her son Cooper. He had the biggest smile when he turned around and saw his breathtakingly beautiful mom in her gorgeous wedding dress. Then Katie did a first look with her bridesmaids which was filled with squeals and so many happy tears! I can never get enough of those first look/touch moments. They are just so filled with emotion and joy and make my photographer heart so happy!
